From a tiny multi-toed monster into the big, single-toed monster we see now. The male is called a Stallion and the female is known as Mare. The baby is also referred to as a Foal. The diet of the horse consists of short, succulent grass and hay, together with barley, maize, oats and bran. This gorgeous creature normally weighs about 1000 to 1100 lbs.
